Spring/summer lips with Catrice!

Hello! Time to talk some lippies! I do have a big stash of lip products, but I never really post much about them so here's another picture heavy post presenting my picks for spring/summer lips with Catrice :)

First one is Made To Stay Smoothing Lip Polish in shade 020  Jen&Berry's. What I really like about this product is the fact it's soo light! It's very liquidy, not like any other lip gloss I have as it's really more of a lip polish. But it's very well pigmented for such a product! It has a strong sweet scent but it usually doesn't bother me at all. Application is easy and one swipe over my lips is usually enough. Also the applicator has a nice shape and a little hole in the sponge so there can be more product stored in that and applied to your lips. The colour of this products is like deep red strawberries, don't you think? Also it claims to last up to 8 hours, but one me it didn't, still it left a really lovely rosy stain on my lips for at least 6 hours. All in all, really love this one, feel so light on the lips and simply gorgeous red -ish shade :)

Next are now already famous Catrice Beautifying Lip Smoothers in shade 020 Apricot Cream and 010 Sweet Caramel. There are total three different shades available, however all three have only slight differences in colour. Both smell really sweet and sometimes I don't like the scent, but most of the time I don't even notice it. These are sort of dupes for Clarins Lip Perfectors as they seem really similar to them judging the packaging and shades. I find these lip smoothers to be quite good at nourishing, but not enough in winter time or when my lips are really dry. They have embedded sponge applicator I wish I could replace, as I find that the sponge can get really dirty fast so the next uses may not be as pleasant as when first starting the use. Anyway, these give your lips a gentle touch of colour and some good hydration. A product that's always in my bag! The last one on the photo is a lip glossfrom last years limited edition Carnival of Colour and it's in shade C03 Go, Yellow, Go! I am really loving the bright vibrant colour it has in the bottle, but on the lips is looks more like a creamy vanilla ice cream and it's not yellow at all. I find it perfect for some spring/summer pop of a little something on your lips! It's quite liquidy and it has a slight tiny shimmer, but on the lips it looks very natural. It feels light and application is easy, one swipe is enough. It also has a very sweet scent as the lip smoothers. The packaging of this tiny lip gloss is also a win for me as it's tiny and flattened so you can carry it in your pocket!

And the last three I have chosen as my spring/summer lippies :) The pencil lipsticks are really popular lately and every drugstore brand offers them. So I decided to give it a try with Catrice, I got myself Pure Shine Colour lip balm in shade 100 Sheer Your Mind! It's a gentle nude colour that looks like my lips but better when applied. Really lovely texture, glides on the lips like butter, Also again similarly sweet scent like with the lip glosses. It's just a little pop of something on the lips and suity really any occasion or makeup look. It gives your lips a lovely shine, but not like a lip gloss. It also hydrates my lips well. The only downside I see with this product is that it doesn't last very long. As the colur is really gentle and its really more like a tinted lip balm I can not see any traces of the product after about an hour and a half, maybe a bit longer if I don't eat or drink. I don't know how it is with other shades, but this one really splips of my lips fast. The lipstick in the middle is from limited edition Nude Purism and it's in shade C03 Delicate Rosewood gentle lip colour. The lipstick melts like butter when applied and simply just glides on. To get a bit more colour I tend to apply two coats, straight from the bullet. It's not a heavy creamy lipstick, it's more like a lip balm with a hint of colour. It looks really gently rosey on the lips and I like I can wear it with basically anything. The packahing is similar to the Ultimate Stay lipsticks, it just has some print on the top saying the name of the limited edition Nude Purism. And again, you can sense the sweet scent of the product. The last lipstick I chose is from the Ultimate Stay range  and it's in shade 050 Mauve your lips! It's more creamy than the previously mentioned lipstick and also has the sweet scent. The pigmentation is  better and with one swipe you can already achieve full look. However I like to go over and than just dab a bit more on the lips. It's not a heavy lipstick but it's also not so balmy like the Delicate Rosewood one. The packaging is simple and sleek and I also like it's not chubby. The colour is as the name already suggests mauve, pinky with a hint of lilac. It's a bit colder shade, maybe more suitable for fair skins and those with a colder undertone, but I can still make it work even thou I tend to wear more warm toned yellow based foundations. It's all in all one of my favourite lipsticks of all time, the shade simply fits all!
